
Tab hider
Provides a "Hide this tab" when you right click on a tab. Firefox 59 and above only. The API this extension uses is experimental. To use this extension, you must go to *about:config* and set *extensions.webextensions.tabhide.enabled* to *true*.
What is Tab hider?
Tab hider is a Firefox add-on that provides a convenient way to hide tabs in Firefox 59 and above. By right clicking on a tab, you can quickly hide it and declutter your browsing experience. Enable the add-on by setting the experimental API in about:config.

works perfectly, it just needs some better options such as hide tabs after a certain amount of tabs are opened and an increment by minutes instead of hours to hide the tabs
