What is Yubikey Companion?

Yubikey Companion is a Firefox add-on that enables users to easily insert OTP codes on any website using a Yubikey. It requires the installation of the official ykman tool, a Yubikey, and the Yubikey Bridge native companion app.

Note that this addon requires several dependencies to work:

  • You need to have a Yubikey.
  • The official ykman tool for your Yubikey needs to be installed: https://developers.yubico.com/yubikey-manager/
  • You need to install the native "Yubikey Bridge" for this addon (a small native companion app to talk with the Yubikey).
