"Adjust Screen Brightness" is a Firefox add-on that enables users to control their browser's screen brightness. It helps reduce eyestrain while reading online by allowing customization of brightness levels for both daytime and nighttime settings. Users can define start times for each period, with defaults set at 08:00 for daytime and 19:00 for nighttime. The extension can also be set to have no effect during the day by choosing a brightness level of 100%.

Pros
Helps reduce eye strain, especially at night
Ability to whitelist sites and customize brightness levels
Keyboard shortcuts available for ease of use
Simple and straightforward compared to other similar addons
Cons
New auto dark feature can disable the addon on dark mode sites
Occasional failure to load properly, requiring page refresh
The latest update added this thing called "auto dark" which disables the addon for the site if it detects a dark mode. This feature is awful.
I use this addon ALONGSIDE dark mode, and don't want this feature to be on by default for all websites as it causes discomfort. I set my brightness to be what it is, and the previous version of the addon worked perfectly fine for this without deciding that I all-of-a-sudden don't need to dim a website because it's dark in shade.
I have downgraded to the previous version until this is fixed.
