Add-on summary
Ad Killer is a great extension to block those irratating banner ads in websites like YouTube, ESPN, Independent, MSN and many more. It is open source and currently still in development.
To use, simply install and let it run in the background! There may be scroll-down ads, so press F5 and scroll down to where the ads are. Also, some ads may be blocked and some not. If this is the case, just click F5. If problems persist, feel free to contact me via my support email.
Please leave a review on your experience. Your feedback matters the most to the development of this addon.
NOTE: *It sometimes takes time for Ad Killer to recognise ads. Press F5 if you still see ads on the page you are browsing. If you see an ad that loaded while you scroll down, click F5 and scroll down to the ad so that Ad Killer can detect and block it. *Ad Killer is in beta mode, and there might be bugs in it.
- Not all ads can be blocked as some websites make their own.I am working on this:)
- Ad Killer can read data of your websites, but only does this to scan for banner ads. Your data is not being used.
----NEW UPDATE!!---- You can now toggle the extension to be on/off in version 0.6! NOTE: If the extension displays OFF(or if it displays ON) and the banner ads are still blocked, click the icon of the extension twice. Also you must do this if you come to a previously visited page where you have changed the extension status from ON to OFF(or vice versa).
