What is URL Alias?

URL Alias is a Firefox add-on that allows users to create short aliases for URLs in order to access websites faster. With a button on the address bar, users can easily create and manage aliases. Simply prefix the alias with a slash (/) in the address bar to quickly navigate to the desired website. Existing aliases can be viewed and edited via the extensions popup.   • Users are able to create aliases the same way they can create bookmarks: with a button on the address bar.
  • When entering the alias in the address bar, it needs to be prefixed with a slash (/).
  • Existing aliases can be viewed & edited by opening the extensions popup in the address bar and clicking the link 'My aliases'

Helpful extention. I don't like to use bookmarks for fast access and enjoy to be able to type less and instead on relying on auto suggestions just clearly tell the browser where I want to go. Suprising that there are not more users.
