Asus Downloader

Unofficial firefox addon for Asus Download Master. For PC and Android phones

What is Asus Downloader?

Asus Downloader is an unofficial Firefox add-on that automatically detects downloading requests based on URL and content-type and puts them into Download Master. This add-on is useful for downloading files on Asus routers without the need to open Download Master separately. It supports downloads based on JavaScript events and is compatible with both PC and Android phones.

Summary

This addon automatically detects downloading requests based on url and content-type and put these requests to Download Master, which is used to download files on Asus routers. So you don't need to open Download Master in new tab and copy&paste url there. This is usefull for downloads based on javascript event and for mobile downloading. For all links, you can also use context menu (right click on a link).

All you need is to set your Download Master url and optionally set content-types (delimited by comma) + url (in regular expression form, delimited by comma), where you want auto detect downloads.

If you have any trouble, please let me know.

Overall I have been VERY happy with this extension! Fantastically smoothes out ANY workflow for downloads!!! That being said, I do have an issue... Currently, downloading requires: right-click>Send to Asus Downloader Although this may seem easy enough, when downloading using my HTPC in my living room I am used to using only my keyboard, and requires me to go get my mouse and work through it... My question, therefore, is to ask if there is any way to automatically send any magnet link to the extension with a simple left-click and nothing else? As an aside, and to make life more difficult, I am running Ubuntu... Just for that little extra nudge of a challenge... hehe When I click a magnet link it brings up the normal Ubuntu "Choose Application" dialog. I am hoping you have some solution for this, or perhaps a workaround for Ubuntu itself for sending the link over to the router as needed... I really do appreciate the work you have put into this, in addition, I do also appreciate that you have taken the time to polish it beyond personal use and have shared it with others to make their lives also easier, and to do such things for free! Thank you kindly, take care and be well, ~J
