Add-on summary
Do you always view some websites using Firefox's Reader View? ...and so you keep having to click the Reader View button each time?
With this add-on Firefox will automatically attempt to load webpages in Reader View for a list of websites that you enter on the add-on's options page. You can also have just a subsection of a website opened in Reader View rather than the whole site.
If you really want, you can have Firefox attempt to load all web pages in Reader View by default. When this setting is in effect you can provide a list of websites that will not be opened in Reader View by default.
Note that Firefox will only show certain pages in Reader View – some pages are just not suited for it. This add-on does not change this.
Automatic Reader View works on both desktop Firefox and Firefox for Android. Well, not currently working on Firefox for Android until some new APIs are supported. (See https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/Add-ons/WebExtensions/API/tabs/toggleReaderMode#Browser_compatibility) After installation, go to Add-ons (about:addons) where you can edit your options for this add-on.
