Bulk Stored Password Changer
Changes saved passwords for many sites at once. Useful in corporate environments where same password is used for many internal sites
What is Bulk Stored Password Changer?
Bulk Stored Password Changer is a Firefox add-on that allows users to change saved passwords for multiple sites simultaneously. Designed for corporate environments with shared passwords, this add-on simplifies the process of updating passwords across various internal websites.
In our corporate network we are obliged to use common authentication to access many of the company internal web sites. While under Windows that works seamless with its domain-based Kerberos tickets, Linux integration is not that smooth, and Firefox asks for a password each time it interacts with another internal site. Worse, the password is changed each three months, so it is a never stopping process of entering password again and again.
Since the password is the same anyway for all sites, I wrote this addon which asks for the old password, the new password, and replaces one with another in one go.
Bulk Stored Password Changer is risky to use as it requires a number of sensitive permissions that can potentially harm your browser and steal your data. Exercise caution when installing this add-on. Review carefully before installing. We recommend that you only install Bulk Stored Password Changer if you trust the publisher.
