How many "chunks" are in a file so I can estimate how long checksum calculations are going to take? How does a chunk relate to bytes? Please pay attention to who your audience is, in this case it is the public and most are NOT computer scientists. As a long time software engineer/team lead myself I fired or got rid of programmers who did not write programs directed at their user base and used geek speak, error messages etc that their users would find incomprehensible. |
