This extension can be used to search for selected text using the context menu. The search results are shown in a new tab next to the current tab.

I have Android Firefox set as the default browser and yet when I select a word and look for "web search" in the context menu, the search is opened up in Samsung's native browser (which I never use). I would like to use Firefox to do just that, ideally from any app, not just from within Firefox. Thanks for your effort, though! |

| 2019-07-28 | Firefox user 15163640 | | Not the same as the Chrome extension. The chrome/chromium extension lets YOU add any url you want as a search target and replaces TESTSEARCH in the url with the selected text. This one is junk. |
