2020-03-18 Clemens Ratte-Polle 2020.02 CookiErazor: Add option to make default behaviour selectable. I want all sites keeping their cookies only until restart and not permanently. thx ------ CookiErazor: Missing Options: - Block cookies of this site always. - Delete all Cookies of this site now.
2019-09-03 Firefox user 15249633 Doesn't seem to be a way to set the default to be other than "keep all cookies permanently" so you have to blacklist each each site individually. I want to auto blacklist all sites so their cookies are deleted on shutdown and whitelist the small set of sites I like. So just too much trouble to be of much use to have to manually change the cookie settings for every site I visit.

2017-11-17 RedaP As a replacement for Cookie Monster, CookiErazor does as much as it can under the stricter rules of Firefox 57 ("Quantum"). One big difference for Cookie Monster users is that the default Firefox preference has to be set to allow all cookies. Then CookiErazor preferences are set to erase cookies when the tab closes or Firefox quits. (In other words, you can no longer have the default set to refuse all cookies and make exceptions via Cookie Monster, so if you want to keep cookies for some sites you have to accept them for all.) And of course, for a specific site you can set it to keep the cookies. The icons could be better, like the optional set in later versions of Cookie Monster: eg, a red circle if the Firefox default is to refuse cookies, a yellow circle if CookiErazor is set to erase after closing tab or program, a green circle if CookiErazor is set to keep the site's cookies.
