The combination of 'Ctrl-Tab' can not be used, because the WebExtentions platform does not support such a combination.

Any chance to make this open source? I am reluctant to install code that I can not verify.

Ctrl-Tab as Alt-Q is safe to use. It does not request any sensitive permissions.
