Don't Track Me Google - Firefox Add-on
"Don't track me Google" is a Firefox add-on initially published as a user script in 2011 and as a Chrome extension in 2012. It deactivates Google's link-conversion/tracking feature which alters search results into trackable links. This feature enhances user privacy by preventing tracking, speeds up the loading of search results, and simplifies copying of links.

Add-on summary
At the Google Search engine, search results are converted to an ugly link upon click. This link enables tracking for Google.
For example, the search entry
http://www.google.com/
(when searching for "Google") will be replaced with:https://encrypted.google.com/url?sa=t&rct=j&q=Google&source=web&cd=8&sqi=2&ved=0CFgQFjAH&url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.google.com%2F&ei=Ej__TrCkJo2bOrSs2aIE&usg=AFQjCNG5-9Jej-ukVeakTgwonqt2narbYg&sig2=f9f1dWcZoj6ZUC2Zxy9y2g
History: Initially published as a user script (2011), later as a Chrome extension (2012), and now (2016) also as a Firefox add-on, because it is now possible to provide this feature in Firefox without side effects.

gut?!?
Does not work safely!!!
This addon just prevents URL tracking, but Google uses several other tricks to track your clicks, e.g. Google gets much more information using javascript (example: track event mouseup)
The developer does nothing to make this addon as advertised.
Thus, we as experts consider this addon as fake.
