Add-on summary

This is an unofficial DuckDuckGo search engine add-on for going to the top result. For the official DuckDuckGo search engine add-on with regular functionality, go here.

Instead of going to the search results page, this search engine add-on will redirect directly to DuckDuckGo's first search result.

This is the DuckDuckGo equivalent of Google's "I'm Feeling Lucky!" (i.e. "I'm Feeling Ducky" / !ducky).

The default search engine keyword is "q" (convenient to type, can be short for "query"). This can be changed on the Firefox search preferences page: about:preferences#search

POST requests are used, so browser history is not filled with entries of intermediate redirect pages.
