User reviews
Certainly, I'll incorporate that information into the review. Here's an updated version:
⭐⭐
The "Email this" extension partially fulfills its purpose but falls short of expectations for an extension for which there would be great need.
While it successfully sends the current page's link to your email (tested with Gmail), it fails to deliver on a key mentioned feature. The extension's description promises that "The selected text on the current page is added inside the email," but this simply doesn't happen.
I tested this in both Mozilla's reader mode and regular view, selecting text in both cases. The result was the same: only the link is copied into the email, without any selected text.
The missing functionality significantly reduces the extension's usefulness, especially for those looking to quickly share specific content from web pages.
The extension works for sending links, but its failure to include selected text as promised is a major disappointment.
Complete trash !
