2024-08-17 Firefox user 13590208 I use this app to track a half-dozen or so habits I want to reinforce, such as daily blood-sugar testing (I'm diabetic), daily weigh-ins (I'm a diabetic who's overweight), and daily exercise (I'm a diabetic who's overweight and wants to lose weight by being more active). If the screen colors seem overwhelming, take 30 seconds to explore the help file that will explain them. (You assign a color to a habit, and as you check off that habit from day to day, the color gets darker and darker. Miss a day, and you have to build up the darker color again.) The flexibility is incredible. You can rearrange your habits, archive them and bring them back later, rename them and choose different colors later, and more. Plus, if you're really serious about building the HABITS that will contribute to the SYSTEMS that will help you reach your GOALS, don't miss the recommended readings the software comes with (available on the smartphone app, but not on the web version, I believe). This app introduced me to James Clear, and the app provides a wonderful way to support the things you'll learn in Clear's book, "Atomic Habits." I like that the app is on my phone, my desktop, and any device I use that can connect to the Internet. True, the free version is limited. But try it anyway, and visualize how this app could support your growth if you purchased one of the paid versions. After all, what's eight cents per day (based on a $30 annual subscription) if it helps you create profound changes for good in your life? I purchased a lifetime membership a couple of years ago, after using the free version for a week or so, and I have not regretted that investment even for a minute.
