Summary
This extension adds an handy "Play video externally" button on Firefox for Android "Addons" menu.
Usage
- Land on any page with a video playing
- Click on browser 3 dots -> Addons -> Play video externally
- A new tab should open with an address "intent://"
- Click on browser 3 dots -> "Open in app"
- Your default player should open or Android should ask you to select a player
- Enjoy
If nothing happens, make sure only one video is playing and try again. Unfortunately support for toast notifications has been removed so cannot provide feedback.
