What is Fast Tab Switcher?
Fast Tab Switcher is a keyboard-oriented Firefox add-on that allows immediate tab switching even with multiple windows and numerous tabs open at once. With the use of the default Ctrl+Space hotkey, users can access a popup list of all browser tabs, sorted in MRU order. The add-on offers filtering by typing in the tab title or URL and has the added functionality of quick tab closure using the Ctrl+Delete hotkey, making browser navigation more efficient.

Summary

Hotkey combination opens the popup window with tab list. Start typing the title or url (any part or word) of the tab you would like to switch to and press Enter.
- Tab list is filtering as you are typing
- Tab list is sorted in MRU order (most recent tabs first)
- Tab list contains all tabs in every browser window
- You can close selected tab by pressing Ctrl+Delete (or Cmd+Delete on OSX)
