Almost everyone agrees Twitter's new design is ugly. Very ugly. This add-on gets you back the old style!

It changes the UA string to IE11's, fixes the clipboard, and clears your Twitter cookies once on install. You will have to log back in, so do not use this if you don't know your password.

Permissions:

  1. "https://twitter.com/*": needed for access to the webRequest API
  2. "webRequest", "webRequestBlocking": needed to edit the requests' headers before sending
  3. "browsingData": needed to clear Twitter's cookies

Update please. The extension no longer works.

I think it's broken atm. I logged into twitter and the page wouldn't load. Just a spinning wheel where posts would be. I can see partial parts of twitter, header, left & right columns but they are not complete. Had to turn it off to see posts. Edit: I tried a couple of other 'Old UIs apps" for tiwt and the same thing is happening. Not sure what's causing this.
