What is URL Shortener?
URL Shortener is a Firefox add-on that enables you to quickly shorten desired urls using the Google URL Shortener API. Simply right-click on a link or the white area of a page to copy the shortened URL to your clipboard. Get the API key from the add-on's options page before use.

Add-on summary

URL Shortener is a simple add-on that let you shorten a desired URL(s) with just once click. It uses Rebrandly URL Shortener API (https://developers.rebrandly.com/docs).

Note: before using the addon please make sure to get an API key. In order to get the API key please visit add-on option's page. Once the key is set, you can start working with the addon.

Simply right-click on any link and then select - Copy Shortened URL to clipboard - from the context-menu. If you click on the white area within the page, the page URL will be selected as the source URL to be shortened.

Please note that the shortened URL will be auto-copied to the clipboard, so you do not need to perform extra steps to copy the URL to the clipboard.

It is not Google shortener. It creates link at some strange place looking like a phishing https://isn.page.link
