Summary
As typical "first Add-On" type of Add-On, Go Top has just one simple functionality: To bring you back to the top of a page.

Go Top adds a minimalist button that smoothly scrolls back to the top of websites, mainly aimed at "infinite scroll" type of websites that do not include this functionality by themselves, such as Google Images, Facebook and Reddit with RES.

The scroll speed adapts to scroll distance, but is capped at half a second. It feels smooth, while also not leaving you waiting.

While there is likely not much to say, feedback is still very welcome!
Safety
Risk impact

Go Top requires some risky permissions and may not be safe to use. Exercise caution when installing this add-on. Review carefully before installing.

Risk impact measures the level of extra permissions an extension has access to. A low risk impact extension cannot do much harms, whereas a high risk impact extension can do a lot of damage like stealing your password, bypass your security settings, and access your personal data. High risk impact extensions are not necessarily malicious. However, if they do turn malicious, they can be very harmful.

Risk likelihood

Go Top has earned a fairly good reputation and likely can be trusted.

Risk likelihood measures the probability that a Firefox add-on may turn malicious. This is determined by the publisher and the Firefox add-on reputation on Firefox Browser Add-ons, the amount of time the Firefox add-on has been around, and other signals about the Firefox add-on. Our algorithms are not perfect, and are subject to change as we discover new ways to detect malicious extensions. We recommend that you always exercise caution when installing a Firefox add-on, especially ones with higher risk impact and/or higher risk likelihood.

good extension (but its missing option to change color of arrow :c )

It works on duckduckgo.com, facebook.com, amazon.com but not on …addons.mozilla.org! And that’s strange, as in the domain without prefix mozilla.org it works perfectly. I used to use another addon in which the scroll to top/scroll to bottom were items in the right click context menu, but I decided to give a go at this one, and I am quite pleased. A scroll to bottom feature would be welcomed, as others already pointed out quite abrasively, leaving a one star review. Or maybe another addon altogether? In the end it just makes a button with the instruction Ctrl+top, having another one with an upside down icon and Ctrl+bottom would be an easy thing to do, I think. Thanks anyway @nullpilot, I like this and it’s definitely a "stay" item in my addon list. Oh, it’s working on Firefox Nightly 63.0a1 (2018-07-10) (64-bit).
