Goodreads Easy Search

Easily search Goodreads with right-click! This addon adds context options on selecting text to search Goodreads with that text. You can "Search Now" (immediately show the search tab) or "Search Later" (open up the search tab in the background).

2023-09-21	Firefox user 13150026		It works but it puts an unnecessary extra step— instead of immediately taking you to the site, it opens a sub-menu, asking you if like to 'Search goodreads Now,' or 'Search goodreads Later.' What's the purpose of this? Choosing 'Later' does not save your highlighted book for later. Better choose "Now" and check your browser's history later if you don't have the time to read the article and reviews. Imagine if this add-on is like Google's "Search Google for..." One click and you're there. But instead, it's inconvenient. 2 stars.

2022-10-21	TheGoomer		It does exactly what I wanted. I highlight a book title, an author, or even a string of words and it starts the Goodreads search. I see no difference in the "Search Now" or "Search Later" choices, both open a tab immediately, but that may be my setup and it really doesn't matter.
