"Google Analytics Opt-out" is a Firefox add-on that adds an object to web pages to request that Google Analytics and Tag Manager not track users. Unlike traditional adblockers, it peacefully requests data rejection from analytics scripts like "ga.js" and "analytics.js". The add-on shows a colorful page action button when requests are rejected, displaying the total number of rejections. It effectively prevents user tracking by popular analytics tools, ensuring better privacy while browsing.

Unlike adblocker scripts that block web requests, this extension peacefully requests to not being recorded from "ga.js", "analytics.js", and "dc.js", that's it! This extension works for both Google Analytics and Tag Manager scripts, and prevent both of these popular analytic scripts from collecting user data.
When a request is being rejected, the page action button becomes colorful. Place the mouse over the button to see the total number of rejected requests.

THANK YOU emano waldeck!!!
This is such a simple, seamless way to eliminate Google's insidious tracking, which actually violates antitrust laws. Google it!!
Their new opt-out scheme is practically impossible to navigate, and wastes at least a half hour to unravel. I seriously doubt that it even works.
