Google Meet Easy Mute is a Firefox add-on that allows users to easily mute/unmute their Google Meet calls directly from the browser icon. It provides the option to mute the microphone by default and turn off the camera by default, making it convenient for users to manage their calls. The add-on also offers troubleshooting steps and explains how it decides which call to mute. It does not track user data and provides a privacy policy. Additional features include the ability to toggle camera or microphone by pressing the spacebar and support for multiple languages. Support for mütesync has been recently added and the issue of the extension not loading has been resolved in the newer version of Google Meet.
