2024-01-25 CC Does the job, also thanks for the reply to another review on the new hidden mozilla feature to add a engine manually. From what I can tell that manual system that you posted on reddit is now working, I just tried it. However cannot edit or delete anything added in the settings interface.

One click add-on so that Google.co.uk appears as an option in my W10 FF97.0 settings for default search (which enables me to use 'Tools>UK only' to weed out irrelevant US sites). On my other computer I used a more comprehensive add-on to add any search engine where one had the URL code, but it was more fiddle to get the URL code exactly right (%s, etc). Wouldn't it be great if there was a way of making the search results come up with UK only sites without having to click 'Tools>UK only'. Many thanks.
