Hide jobs you have already applied to from your job search results on LinkedIn. Add other optional filters to hide jobs with.
Are you tired of sorting through the many job listings you've already applied to on LinkedIn? This simple extension hides any job listing from the search results, that you've already applied to. You can also define your own keywords to hide jobs by, for example: Promoted, On-site, etc.
This light-weight extension was developed by a software developer frustrated with the job search experience on LinkedIn. The extension only activates when you're on LinkedIn, and requires no configuration or setup. Adding your own keywords to hide results with is optional. Simply install, and enjoy more useful search results on LinkedIn :)
This extension is a huge time saver! I'm looking for remote work in the US, and that can be hundreds of new jobs a day, especially considering how LinkedIn lets companies post the same job 50-100 times, once for each city, and then lets them automatically repost the same job 30 days later and LinkedIn shows them to you again even though you've already viewed them. Annoying!
I add "Viewed" as a keyword so it will hide jobs I've already viewed so I don't have to look at them more than once. It reduces 350 "new" jobs to the 15 actually new ones I haven't viewed before. The only trick is when you're navigating through the pages of jobs, since LinkedIn opens the first job on each page automatically (which this extension will then hide since it's Viewed), you always have to look at the job details panel on every new page and check that the hidden job isn't something new.
I like it so much, I gave the author a contribution on Kofi.
Thanks for making this!
