What is Lenz Image Downloader?
Lenz Image Downloader is a Firefox add-on that enables you to download images from Instagram in the quality of your choice. Simply install the extension and select the desired quality from the options displayed on each image. The image will be saved in your browser's default download directory. With qualities ranging from 150 to 1080 pixels, you have full control over the image quality you wish to save. This lightweight extension uses no resources when there is no open Instagram page.

This tool adds download capability to your Instagram. After installation, open an Instagram page or reload an existing page for the extension to add tags to all the loaded images. You can see all the available qualities on the top left side of each image. Click on the quality that you would like to download and wait for a few seconds. The image will be placed in your default browser download's directory.

This extension offers downloading images in 150, 240, 320, 480, 640, 750, and 1080 pixel qualities.

Note that this extension has none persistent background page which means it is not using any resources when there is no open Instagram page.
