KeePassHttp-Connector is a WebExtension for browsers to send and receive credentials from KeePass(XC).
This is a port of the ChromeIPass extension for Chrome, but compatible with Firefox 55+.
Note: Because Firefox does not offer an API to communicate with the built-in password manager KeePassHTTP-Connector needs to implement its own kind of password manager.

Ich finde es interessant, dass sich jemand diese Mühe macht, eine derartige Lösung zu entwickeln.
Was mir prinzipiell nicht gefällt bei einem derart sensiblen Thema, ist, dass eine Einzelperson so etwas bereitstellen kann, ohne dass Mozilla hier irgendeine Security-Qualitätssicherung gewährleistet. In meinen Augen absoluter Wahnsinn.
Dem Autor möchte ich hier nichts unterstellen, aber gerade Einzelkämpfer können leicht manche Sicherheitslücken übersehen.
Die Lösung ist super und ich wäre glücklich, wenn Keepass das offiziell übernehmen würde!
