LastPass Password Manager

LastPass Password Manager

LastPass, an award-winning password manager, saves your passwords and gives you secure access from every computer and mobile device.

What is LastPass Password Manager?
LastPass Password Manager is a Firefox add-on designed to streamline and secure online experiences. The program stores passwords, credit card information, addresses, and more in a secure vault, granting access only through a master password known solely to the user. LastPass autofills forms for quick processing and automatically logs the user into stored accounts. It also offers security features such as dark web monitoring, passwords strength enhancement, and multifactor authentication. It even allows secure sharing of passwords with family and friends. Sensitive data gets encrypted with AES 256 encryption, ensuring that LastPass itself cannot access it in unencrypted form. This extension is available for free on all devices with an option to upgrade for premium features.

Recent reviews
I used LastPass for years--and then they implemented a pay model that held my passwords hostage until I paid to subscribe to their service. They reminded me that if I give them my passwords, and give them my access control tokens, that I can be held hostage to my own life until I submit to their extortion and ransom my own information back from them. I switched to Keeper and haven't looked back.
