Summary

Local media player as the name clearly explains allows you to play most of the media files (MP4, MKV, WEBM, OGG, MP3, H.264) without any need to download third party softwares like VLC, Windows Media PLayer etc. This is very helpful for computers with low storage space/processing power.

Some video formats like .avi are not supported. If your file is not working with our media player than you are requested to convert your desired file into any of the above mention file formats of your choice using numerous free file converters (both offline as well as online).

"Default search engine in omnibox browser will also be updated to point on our search engine (using bing). If you wish to rollback, just go in chrome settings to restore your favorite search engine."
