Add-on summary
Locker is a cross-platform vault that help users secure sensitive digital assets such as logins and passwords, secret notes, payment cards, online identities, and crypto wallets. It also offers additional features to enhance browsing experience like password autofill, item sharing, and more.
Why choose Locker over other password managers?
- Security
- Locker uses military-grade encryption to secure your data. AES-256bit encryption combined with PBKDF2 and RSA algorithm makes your data is un-crackable.
- Your vault is encrypted with a Master Password, which is the only key to decrypt your data.
- Privacy & Transparency
- Your Master Password is only yours. No body, even us, can see your Master Password thanks to Zero-knowledge development model.
- Locker is an open-source product. Everyone can inspect its source code. We believe transparency is the key to better security.
- Unlimited Sync
- Once you add, edit, remove items in your Locker on a device, the data will be sync-ed across all other devices*.
User reviews
good
I downloaded the Locker application a year ago, but I was somewhat disappointed due to several shortcomings compared to its competitors. However, last week, I decided to give Locker another try.
This time, Locker is significantly improved compared to a year ago and is now on par with its competitors. Here’s a summary of what I appreciate:
1. It includes an auto-fill function that works not just for passwords but also for personal identities. To enhance this further, I would like to see Locker incorporate a small auto-fill icon in forms, similar to what RoboForm offers.
2. There is a feature for generating email aliases, which I find essential for helping users maintain their privacy. Apart from Locker, I’ve noticed that only Proton Pass provides this functionality. To improve further, I hope Locker can enhance this feature by adding a small icon for generating email aliases in the email fields, akin to Proton Pass.
3. The user interface (UI) and user experience (UX) are highly user-friendly.
4. Unlike many other competitors, Locker has the capability to import passwords from various platforms, making it much easier for users to transition to Locker without unnecessary hassle.
Congratulations to Locker. With such rapid improvements, I believe Locker has the potential to be among the top three password manager applications in the market.
Good, very potential.
