Add-on summary

Popular Chrome extension, now available for Firefox.

Ever needed to note down something about a webpage e.g. login id, frequent flyer number, membership number, tracking id etc. Something that you want to remember when you visit that page again.

Page notes lets you do that and much more in a slick way. Your notes can live in the cloud allowing you to be free of the device. It's secure: data stays in your browser and in your Google drive; you can encrypt your notes if you want that extra level of security. There's more. See below for full features list.

  • Works on Chrome and all Chromium based browsers: Microsoft Edge, Brave, Opera, Vivaldi.
  • Works on Firefox.

What users are saying about it (from reviews):

"Was looking for a Push to Google Keep extension when I discovered Page Notes. This is even better for note context mapping. Darn handy, the best things are simple: url + note Perfect!"

"Exactly what I wanted. Great little extension."

User reviews

I use this extension to add reminders to certain websites (e.g. "don't forget about Delta flight credit!" on Google Flights) and to add metadata that Goodreads and Letterboxd don't easily support (e.g. "recommended by Joseph, he loved the final chapter"). It's great, thanks!

Tried getting my notes synced between chrome and firefox, ended up loosing everything. Don't trust sync -- it's broken.

Hey, thanks for adding this extension to Firefox! I found this through a mention on a Reddit thread, and the person at the time (a couple years ago) was lamenting the fact that an extension like this wasn't available for Firefox (RIP Firefox Notes), but then I searched and saw that you ported it, so thank you! Always great to see extension developers remember that Firefox exists and is used.
