Update: Native smooth zoom is starting to appear in newer Firefox builds. Try enabling it by going to about:config in the url and setting apz.allow_zooming to true. If that works for you then you don't need to use this plugin :)

This extension adds support for smooth zooming with the pinch gesture on a trackpad. It's been designed to match the behavior of Chrome and Safari.

Make sure all the "browser.gesture.pinch" settings in about:config have been reset to empty, otherwise it wont work properly

Zoom can be reset by pressing ⌘ and 0 on macOS or CTRL and 0 on Windows

Three and not one star ONLY because I don't want to kill this extension rating (given all the effort put into this project, as seen on the github). However, this extension doesn't work currently (firefox v118.0.2) and apparently hasn't for a long time already. It's a shame, we were this close to having such an important tool. Hope the project will be forked and fixed one day !
