Summary
Update:
Native smooth zoom is starting to appear in newer Firefox builds. Try enabling it by going to about:config in the url and setting apz.allow_zooming
to true. If that works for you then you don't need to use this plugin :)
This extension adds support for smooth zooming with the pinch gesture on a trackpad. It's been designed to match the behavior of Chrome and Safari.
Make sure all the "browser.gesture.pinch
" settings in about:config have been reset to empty, otherwise it wont work properly
GitHub user QWERTYUIOPYOZO has recently developed Windows touchscreen support, please test it out and leave feedback on GitHub :)
Non-multi-touch users can still smooth zoom by scrolling and holding down the SHIFT
Zoom can be reset by pressing ⌘ and 0 on macOS or CTRL and 0 on Windows
