Email: [email protected] This extension allows you to save selected fragments of web pages in the myBase database, which is by far the best and most functional application for flexible accounting of personal and collective information of various kinds. The ability to quickly save ordered storage of fragments of web pages turns this software into a very powerful and irreplaceable personal accounting tool. Moreover, this application has flexible tools for organizing multiple cross-references between elements (records), which is absent in ALL other similar programs. It is also possible to save fragments of web pages (text and images) as one a single html format file, which is a very convenient way of storing and sharing information from the Internet. BUT ... There is one big problem with saving fragments of web-pages both using the WebCollect plugin and with using the standard Copy/Paste mechanism. Namely, when copying with Copy/Paste, the text is copied, but when myBase tries to download images by links, an error occurs and images are not loaded. When using the plugin WebCollect - it just does not work. The reason for this is the HTTPS protocol (SSL certificates). For sites without SSL certificates such error does not occur and everything works correctly. The documentation for MyBase indicates briefly that there is a problem with use SSL certificates and this is a Windows problem. For the correct save of fragments of web-pages of sites with the HTTPS protocol in the MyBase database,save the entire web page to a local disk, then download it to the browser and then make a selection fragment and save it using WebCollect or the standard Copy/Paste mechanism. In this case, everything works correctly. Even if this behavior of this remarkable software product is the result of Windows errors, all the same there are opportunities to circumvent them by the software methods and efforts of the developers of MyBase. In this case, this software the product could be put a rating and more than 5 stars! Sorry for my English... RUSSIAN: Не сохраняются страницы... ОШИБКА WebCollect и COPY-PASTE... Это расширение позволяет сохранять выделенные фрагменты web-страниц в базу данных myBase, которая является на сегодняшний день лучшим и наиболее функциональным приложением для гибкого учета персональной и коллективной информации самого разного вида. Возможность быстрого сохранения и упорядоченного хранения фрагментов web-страниц превращает данное программное обеспечение в очень мощный и незаменимый инструмент персонального учета. Более того, данное приложение имеет гибкие инструменты для организации множественных перекрестных ссылок между элементами (записями), что отсутствует у ВСЕХ других аналогичных программ. Также имеется возможность сохранять фрагменты web-страниц (текст и изображения) в виде одного единственного файла формата html, что является очень удобным вариантом хранения и обмена информацией из интернета. НО... Имеется одна большая проблема при сохранении фрагментов web-страниц как с использованием плагина WebCollect, так и с применением стандартного механизма Copy/Paste. А именно - при сохранении посредством Copy/Paste текст копируется, но при попытке myBase загрузить изображения по ссылкам возникает ошибка и изображения не грузятся. При использовании плагина WebCollect - он просто не работает. Причина этого - протокол HTTPS (сертификаты SSL). Для сайтов без сертификатов SSL такой ошибки не возникает и все работает корректно. В документации по MyBase указывается кратко, что имеется проблема при использовании сертификатов SSL и это проблема Windows. Для корректного сохранения фрагментов web-страниц сайтов с протоколом HTTPS в базу данных MyBase требуется предварительно сохранить web-страницу целиком на локальный диск, потом оттуда загрузить ее в браузер и уже потом выполнить выделение фрагмента и его сохранение с использованием WebCollect или стандартного механизма Copy/Paste. В этом случае все работает корректно. Даже если такое поведение данного замечательного программного продукта является результатом ошибок Windows, все-равно имеются возможности их обойти программными методами и усилиями разработчиков MyBase. В этом случае данному программному продукту можно было бы поставить рейтинг и более 5 звезд!
