NaviTouch - Navigate webpages easily

NaviTouch is a Firefox add-on designed for touch screen users. It shows a floating button that allows you to navigate webpages and tabs with ease. With simple swipes or gestures, you can perform actions like scrolling to the top of the page, focusing on previous or next tabs, creating new tabs, navigating back in history, and closing the current tab. The extension also offers the option to move the button to any corner of the screen. Accessing frequently used functions such as closing tabs or opening new tabs becomes more convenient, taking advantage of the simplicity of touch screen gestures. Please note that this extension requires permission to modify webpage contents for adding the NaviTouch button.

Add-on summary

What: For touch screen users only. Press on the NaviTouch button (grey circle) with your finger to pop open the menu. Simply slide your finger to the nearest action you want to perform to automatically invoke that action.

Actions include:

  • Scroll to the top of the page
  • Focus previous tab
  • Focus next tab
  • Create a new tab
  • Navigate back in history
  • Close the current tab

You can optionally move the grey circle to any of the 4 corners of the screen.

very fancy concept, but none of the functions are useful. navigating tabs works fine already. Instead, reopening closed tabs, setting bookmarks, searching bookmarks, pinning tabs, unpinning tabs, opening containers and more would be useful
