New Tab from Location Bar: Firefox Add-on
New Tab from Location Bar is a practical Firefox add-on enabling users to open new tabs directly from the location bar. It provides the freedom to open any operation in the location bar in a new tab. Also, it offers the feature of opening new tabs as 'children' of the current tab if the URI is a part of the website being browsed in the existing tab. Note: Not essential for Firefox 60 and later versions.
