User reviews
It worked great for years, but now half of the "light text on dark background" sites I use it on turn into "white text on black background" instead of "dark text on light background", which makes this addon useless for me.
This was last updated 14nov2017 (as of 05feb2024) and it worked perfectly!
It was able to successfully remove all the annoying background colors and images from some website pages I visit.
When you visit a site that has a static background image just floating in the way of text you're trying to read, click on the toolbar icon. It will remove the image (and any other background colors).
It is temporary: that is, if you revisit the site - you'll have to toggle the background _off_ again.
Also, if you're reading a page and click on a link in that page: you'll have to toggle _off_ again if the background is used on that new page (from within the same host/domain). This is a non-issue and I'm just pointing this out. Love what the author did here and how it's implemented.
