Old New Reddit Redirect

Old New Reddit Redirect

Ensure Reddit always loads the old-new design

What is Old New Reddit Redirect?
"Old New Reddit Redirect" is a Firefox add-on designed for users who prefer the familiar 'old-new' Reddit interface over the recently imposed 'new-new' design. This tool ensures that every Reddit link automatically redirects to new.reddit.com, allowing users to seamlessly continue using the layout they are accustomed to. It's an adaptation of Tom Watson's 'Old Reddit Redirect', customized for those who encounter Reddit's enforced beta version which does not adhere to user settings. Simple and effective, it restores your Reddit browsing experience with a single extension.

On r/popular new.reddit is broken (not this extension, I mean the site itself). Individual threads are still fine with the new.reddit site fork, though. It would be great if you could blacklist r/popular only, so we can browse it, with the (albeit, horrid) redesign, but open up threads with new.reddit Granted, apparently they have said they have been planning on shutting down new.reddit for at least a couple months, so who knows how long such a band-aid would last. In any event, thanks for the extension, cheers!

Stopped working as of today. Returns the exact same redirect error that others have mentioned here. Hopefully you can fix this and I can update my review.
