2024-07-25 | Korwin | For the extension to work, you need to download and install third-party software.
2023-06-09 | Firefox user 13214510 | There are times when banking sites/other news sites, work correctly in chrome/chromium based browsers. It's kind of sad that chrome has become the new Internet explorer. Rant over. Using ungoogled chromium currently and there are times when I am forced to use a chromium based browser. At times like these, an addon like this is a Godsend. Installed this addon, then the Node JS native client (as per the instructions, I am on Windows), then configured the path to the chromium executable in the addon (for me, it is: C:\Users\your user name\AppData\Local\Chromium\Application\chrome.exe). Works perfectly. Perhaps some would not like to download an extra app/script (the Node JS native client) since it would appear to be suspicious. You always have the option to scan the zip file with an antivirus scanner of your choice:) or better still hop over to github and check out the source code and stuff if you are into that kind of thing (disclaimer: I am no software professional but the instructions are very straight forward). Once again, thank you for creating this addon. Peace and out.
2023-05-18 | Psythik | Works PERFECTLY with Ungoogled Chromium after some configuring; just what I needed. I like how it automatically opens the browser when I go to my desired website, which is exactly what I was hoping it would do. Now I can finally watch YouTube in HDR, and use Google Maps without GPU artifacts. I don't understand why some people are hating because you have to install an app for this to work. Github is not a "suspicious unknown source". Give me a break. It's freakin' GITHUB! Check the source code if you're scared. Thank you for making this extension!
2023-03-13 | Wolphin | Agree with disceptive. No note in the details about needing to install from 3rd party stuff and not the normal "Add to Firefox" button to add the plugin. I can't say it will work or not, as I do not install externally like that.
2022-12-23 | GanJingWorld | Gan Jing World is a clean, curated universe and a dynamic, overlapping network of integrated platforms and services. ==> https://www.ganjing.com
2022-08-23 | End User | Deceptive addon which only asks to additionally install some suspicious stuff from an unknown source. Otherwise pretends that it cannot work without that. Pressing proposed link requests elevated privileges.
2019-11-29 | popkart120 | good!
2019-01-10 | Thomas | Wonderful, thank you! For linux users: The path to the executable is usually something like: /usr/bin/chromium-browser ;-) |
