OverbiteWX

Re-enables the Gopher protocol in Firefox 56 and above, allowing you to enter Gopher URLs and click on Gopher links. Because WebExtensions does not yet have a TCP sockets API, this version redirects your requests to the Floodgap Public Gopher Proxy.

Install XPI file

  1. Simply drag-and-drop the XPI into Firefox to install the add-on.

Install ZIP file

  1. Download the OverbiteWX ZIP file
  2. In Firefox browser, go to about:addons to open Add-ons Manager
  3. Click on , then select Install Add-on From File
  4. Select the OverbiteWX ZIP file from step 1. OverbiteWX is now installed on your browser.
