2024-08-30 | jmho | As already reported by many other users, logging into pCloud Save with my pCloud e-mail address does not work for me either. The pCloud Save login works for me when I use the third-party sign-in via Google (with the Google account email address). Due to Firefox's updated security policy, if you're using Google, Facebook or AppleID to log into pCloud Save, you need to follow these steps: 1. Open the Firefox Settings and go to "Privacy & Security" 2. Scroll down to the section "Permissions" and uncheck "Block pop-up windows" 3. Click on pCloud Save (it will open as a new tab) and log into your account 4. Go back to "Permissions" and check "Block pop-up windows" Alternatively, you can add pCloud Save to the list of exceptions: 1. Follow the first 3 steps above 2. Click on pCloud Save (it will open as a new tab) and copy the URL 3. Go back to the section "Permissions" and check "Block pop-up windows" 4. Click "Exceptions" and enter the URL 5. Click "Allow" and afterwards "Save changes" I have also opened a ticket with pCloud technical support on 08/30/2024 01:53:39 PM. Below is their response: Hello, Thank you for contacting pCloud's Technical Support. Our developers are aware of the login issue with the pCloud Save extension for Firefox but a fix hasn't been provided yet. We'll get back to you as soon as we have more details or a solution. If you have any additional questions, please don't hesitate to ask. Regards, George Lewis pCloud's Technical Support.
2024-07-20 | z-kaien | Absolutely terrible! The pCloud Firefox extension is completely unusable. Logging in doesn't work at all, no matter if I try my username and password or SSO via Google/Apple. It's incredibly frustrating, especially since many other users have reported the same issue. Save yourself the trouble and don't bother with this extension until they fix this fundamental problem. 1/5 stars Z-Kaien

2024-06-12 | Firefox user 18460422 | login using email doesn't work, at all. I don't understand how you can develop an addon and not see such a bug.

2024-04-24 | Knox43 | This extension doesn't work for Firefox. It will let you login using SSO (such as Google, Apple, etc.), but not regular email. I escalated this to support, and they say they are unable to reproduce the problem internally. They had me do all kinds of things - screenshots, a screen recording, reinstalling Firefox... Guess what? Now I'm going public to call out your bug. If you're not going to fix it, we're going to make that known to other users so they don't waste their time. |
