2024-01-27 Geoff Doesn't work on Arch Linux
2023-12-03 ThatWildWolf Giving three stars because it works but no more because of the poor customisation options. Overall it's good for visually impaired people.
2023-11-06 Skelen Doesn't do anything, just infinitely loads :(

2023-05-26 Swagonair finally an extension that actually does what its supposed too, I have been searching for HOURS for a decent reader 10/10, I just wish the voices were better - but other than that, exactly what i wanted
2023-03-07 Firefox user 16322130 Basically, it does nothing. I think that it didn't install the voices because I don't listen to any voices. I am on Firefox – Arch Linux – Kernel 6.1.12 – x86_64.
2023-02-12 Razoner I can hear it make sound, and it sounds somewhat robotic, but it's not terrible. It was slow to translate the text on the screen, and it ultimately crashed my computer, so I'm uninstalling it. A language translator with built-in text-to-speech abilities will probably suit me better.
2023-02-08 Christina When this screen reader works, it's incredible. I like being able to customize the speech function and clicking where I want the reader to begin. It's intuitive and not riddled with features that convolute the product. Unfortunately, I run into a lot of times where the addon doesn't begin reading, and will just load and load in a continuous loop of "Loading Audio". This isn't on any particular instance, seems random on random websites. Sometimes it works, and other times it does not. I have also had instances of stopping reading and then resuming a few minutes later - and having the addon resort to non functioning again. I often have to supplement with a bulky software program that allows similar functions, but is much more difficult to use.
2023-01-10 colorCD Works great! I have ADHD, so reading through websites is often difficult for me. Having text read out loud to me so that I can read along (or hell, listen to it in the background) is very handy. I think it would be great if more "reading" websites had native TTS, but that's not a reality yet, so Pericles is a great replacement :-) (Also, for all your reading-along needs, Pericles lets you change the speed of the narrator, which is awesome.)
