After wasting hours trying to tweak about:config to "Save to PDF" by default like Arc does, I just gave up in disgust. Firefox's Print dialog and settings are diabolically slow and frustrating to use, and even when you do choose print to pdf, Firefox makes everything you want to save "Untitled." So you have to waste time typing in the title of the webpage too. Grrr!
I stumbled upon this fantastic extension and it solved all of my problems!
Print to PDF is now possible with one simple click! Pin it to your toolbar or just right click and it's there in your context menu. It even saves the title of your webpage automatically, just like Arc. Love it!
This is one of those extensions I'll never live without. Thanks, Ricky!
P.S. My only wish is that this extension would append ".pdf" to the title of the pages you save. As it is now, it saves without a filetype associated, and therefore I have to either type .pdf at the end each time I save something or manually drag a bunch of my saved files into Renamer and add ".pdf" as a batch action.
