What is Public IP Display?
Public IP Display is a Firefox add-on that fetches your IP address and country from an IP service of your choice and displays it in a pop-out panel. It provides configurable refresh interval, manual refresh button, and optional notification when your address has changed.

This addon won't be maintained further. I'm shelving this project due to lack of interest/utility and too much burden. The addon will remain available for download as long as the store allows, and the source on gitlab will also remain available to fork. I do have a greasyfork account and may publish works there in the future. I have mild intentions to reimplement the core functionality of CSL, IBCP, and DID as public userscripts.

Available for Chrome too.

Works great! It's reassuring to have a nice flag icon in the menu bar to show that the VPN did not silently die. Thanks a lot for this useful extension! Here's two feature suggestions: - support custom checker URL, then I can add my own server and check as often as I like - Is the geoiplookup only performed on IP change, or cached? Just to not run into ratelimiting issues if I had higher poll rates.
