Qwant Search engine now blocks ad-blockers, in my case uBlock Origin, in that it displays a popup asking to disable any ad-blocker. Moreover uBO (with all native filter lists) blocks, has always blocked several items in Qwant. A search engine may have ads but what is NOT acceptable is that it fails to run flawlessly if it encounters an ad-blocker : doing so is idiot, but being stubborn and continuing to do so is insane, counter-productive (Qwant is already a minor search engine). I run 12 search engine, some display ads but NOT ONE refuses to run correctly when facing an ad-blocker ; this is Qwant's latest exotic decision (isn't the first, unlikely to be the last). My advice : avoid, this extension as well as Qwant, globally, the thing is a joke as well in the quality of the search results as as in the pseudo-privacy it claims to be. 25 years on the networks and never encountered such a bizarre place as Qwant.
