| 2024-11-13 | Firefox user 12350074 | | Finally, an extension for new tabs where you can easily set a custom background and arrange website shortcuts without any hassle (and you can also upload your own images if they don’t load from the site)! It looks really nice, thank you! I used to rely on Yandex’s "Visual Bookmarks," but since they were blocked, I couldn't find a decent alternative for Firefox (and I don't want to switch to other browsers for a hundred different reasons). The only thing missing is a widget with Google’s recommended news or an option to import a customized news feed from Feedly. The current RSS feed is quite inconvenient and plain, and without images, you have to read each title to decide if the topic interests you or not. It would also be great to have the option to adjust the transparency of elements (a fully transparent search bar looks odd, but I’d rather it didn’t cover the image too much). ____________________________ Наконец-то расширение для новых вкладок, в котором можно по-человечески поставить свой фон и настроить расположение ярлыков сайтов и их вид без танцев бубном (а еще и картинки свои загрузить, если с сайта не подгружаются)! Очень приятно выглядит, спасибо! Когда-то пользовался "Визуальными закладками" Яндекса, но с тех пор как их заблокировали — никак не мог найти нормальную альтернативу для Firefox (а переходить на другие браузеры по сотне самых разных причин я не хочу). Единственное чего не хватает — виджета с рекомендованными новостями от Гугла или возможности импортировать кастомизированную ленту новостей из Feedly. Лента RSS в текущем виде крайне неудобная и невзрачная, да и без картинок приходится читать каждый заголовок, чтобы понять, интересна тебе тема, или нет. И очень не хватает возможности настройки степени прозрачности элементов (совсем прозрачная поисковая строка выглядит неправильно, но мне не хотелось бы, чтобы она слишком сильно перекрывала изображение). |
