Example - I have a pinned tab to spotify, I open a new tab and then search for spotify and click on it (without opening a new tab) If we were using an android, spotify app would be opened. In this case, the tab is left with spotify and you turn up having 2 spotify tabs. I guess a good solution would be that the tab were I opened spotify changed focus to the pinned spotify app, reloaded it with the spotify new page I intended to open and the other tab would be left with with Google search - ready to be opened again.
