Safety
Risk impact

Savelist requires a number of risky permissions that can potentially harm your browser and steal your data. Exercise caution when installing this add-on. Review carefully before installing. We recommend that you only install Savelist if you trust the publisher.

Risk impact measures the level of extra permissions an extension has access to. A low risk impact extension cannot do much harms, whereas a high risk impact extension can do a lot of damage like stealing your password, bypass your security settings, and access your personal data. High risk impact extensions are not necessarily malicious. However, if they do turn malicious, they can be very harmful.

Risk likelihood

Savelist has earned a fairly good reputation and likely can be trusted.

Risk likelihood measures the probability that a Firefox add-on may turn malicious. This is determined by the publisher and the Firefox add-on reputation on Firefox Browser Add-ons, the amount of time the Firefox add-on has been around, and other signals about the Firefox add-on. Our algorithms are not perfect, and are subject to change as we discover new ways to detect malicious extensions. We recommend that you always exercise caution when installing a Firefox add-on, especially ones with higher risk impact and/or higher risk likelihood.

User reviews
I have edited my original review from (1) star to (4). Its been a few months since my first review. It was straightforward in that I was pretty disappointed in that the app simply stopped accessing its server. But by that time I had hundreds of items categorized there. However, I tried it again on a lark just to see if it is up and running and, lo and behold! It is once again, and working fine - perhaps even better than before. I really do love this app as it makes keeping potential purchases in any order you wish, and it updates you should price changes occur. As, I am using it once again, I've since been using an alternative as well. So, I am now using both just in case Savelist should stop functioning again. I hope not, as it seems very promising. I stop short of a (5) star only because of my fear of it becoming unreliable again, but should it prove otherwise I will upgrade. I do have a few suggestions though. I love the capability to create categories, I just wish there was a way to auto sort them. Right now, we must move them manually, and if you are like me and have dozens of catagories it can be a bit tedious. Other than that, I'm really diggin' it.

A fantastic extension that is brilliant for organising all of my unncessary tech spending. Even better is the support as I had a minor issue, emailed support and had a reply with a fix with the hour. Superb!!
