Summary
There is a button to trigger the screen recorder, it opens your browser capture popup to let you choose what you need to capture - either a full screen or a window. There is another button to stop the screen recorder. After that you can download the video of your record.
You can check you current record in a window on the page. The last recorded image is presented in this window.
No backend, all is in your browser. Source code available here: https://gitlab.com/bdelseny/screen-capture You can create issues on the above link if you have a bug to report, or a enhancement you want.
Other feature will comes when I have the time, like showing the video of your record instead of the last image. Or choosing the video extension for download, maybe a transformation to gif.
Development won't be quick and steady as I work on it on my free time.
