Save the images from the open tabs
What is Simage?
"Simage" is a Firefox add-on that extracts and saves images from your current tabs. It gives users the flexibility to choose the size, type, dimensions, and file names of the images. It also provides options for handling unknown file sizes and duplicate files. Due to Firefox limitations, it's important to note that there's no option to select a download folder, and duplicate file naming can be an issue. Users can access Simage through the Firefox Tools menu, page context menu, or using a toolbar button.
Simage is my WebExtension version of "Save Images".Notes: - It is not possible to select a download folder. This is a limitation of the new Firefox. Downloads can only be saved to the folder selected in the Firefox Options. Sub-folders can be created. - Duplicate file naming is a problem due to not being able to "look" at what files already exist. Another limitation of the new Firefox.
Simage saves the images from the current tab page, from the cache, to a specified location, with either the images original file name or a file name that you specify. The size, dimensions and types of images saved may be chosen, with options if the file size is unknown or if duplicate files are found. Images may be either saved from the current tab, left or right of the current tab or from all tabs. Also, all or selected links or image links in the current page can be opened in a new tab or multiple tabs.
Simage can be accessed from either the Firefox Tools menu, the context menu (right click in page) or from a button placed on a toolbar. Clicking the button will save the images using the Option "Default Save Action".
